I am a self taught photographer and have been shooting for about 10years and in that time I shot mostly with 35mm then moving on to digital as the technology got better.  I shoot live music events, festivals, nature and landscapes. But graffiti and urban city scapes are a favourite for subject matter. The idea for Urbanivy about whilst thinking about graffiti as a form of ivy. Like as soon as the authorities or council clean it of wall or paint over it, It reapears just as quick, so this is how the Idea came about. Whether its great and artistic, grand murals or just a wall covered in tags or scrawl, each hold an interesting style and beauty and can make for interesting mosaics and accidental collaborations.
